I would report you. Is the same thing as people afk on a dungeon. The only difference is that i can't kick you on a chocobo race. Just because it doesn't say is wrong doesn't mean is wrong.

I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.
But again...in a dungeon AFKers are a complete detriment to you....in choco racing you wait a little longer but there's no downside even a minor benefit? I don't get. I love afk-ers, more exp for me when I actually do the race.

This is completely false. I have never afked in an instance and I would never do so. To my favour, I will also say I've never hacked or used any sort of bot in any of the games I've played, ever. Afking in an instance causes a clear disruption to the other 7-3 players which puts them at clear disadvantage for clearing the dungeon/trial. Afking in a chocobo race is like competing against 6 NPCs instead of 7. I don't have a problem about people disagreeing with me on this subject, it's not entirely morally correct, fine, I'll give you that, but don't come here saying it's the same thing as afking in a dungeon because it freaking isn't for the love of god.
And I would report you for abuse of the system. The chocobo system has an auto finish for people that DNF. So you're abusing the system. Good job.
You can't get banned for not being at the keyboard, the idea is just silly. Plus there's no way to prove it even if you could.
That being said, if you're gonna enter a race you should race it so you aren't holding others up.
As long as SE puts op briar caltrop in the 1st chest, I'd rather occasionally go get a drink or use the bathroom. I'm not doing it often, but sometimes I'm not in the mood having to deal with it over and over.

Completely not the same. If someone's afk in a dungeon, best case you can proceed slowly and worst case you can't proceed at all. If someone's afk in a chocobo race, it's no different than having an additional NPC there.
