Even though this is presumably on a different server, it's eerily familiar, right down to the character names. Though presumably those would be farmbots rather than spambots.

I actually got a /tell from one of them just moments before I teleported to Northern Thanalan. It was actually part of the screenshot, but I cut it out cause I didn't want to risk further advertising on official forums.

Either way though, they should also be taken care of. I've seen RMT bots doing the story quests before. No doubt to get to some of the more valuable content and the materia rewards from story missions.

That is sad but I see it all the time too. I can understand not having the man power but, I've seen a few F2P player made games that use players as GM's. They should start this! I bet there are a lot of people that would do it for free! It would be easy to have a contact/something to make sure people don't troll/abuse the power.

They have 500K subs? If even 100 of them were willing to do it for free that is 100 more eyes that would be able to play the game as normal, then switch over to another account when they see this.
