exactly random rule was designed for end game TT more cards you have less likely to have a deck full of 1 star lmaoI got 60cards+ and don't bother dueling the Random rule NPCs nowadays. BUT AFAIK, Random Rule doesn't allow you to draw 5 ★★★★★ cards...
You can never transcend the rarity limit (<30 cards: Only ★ cards can be added to the deck, with one higher grade, 30 cards or more but <60 cards: No limit on ★★ cards, 60 cards or more: No limit on ★★★ cards) with the Random Rule
Well there are currently:
20 ★ , 17 ★★, 13 ★★★, 10 ★★★★ & 20 ★★★★★ (2 from tournament requirements, 2 having a combined cost of 1,4 million MGP, 3 having an unknown drop location, making it more like 13 ★★★★★ available in normal gameplay)
Sooooo... Even if you were to have 75 cards (since 5 are currently 100% unavailable no matter your luck or MGP wealth)...
Still a good chance a pulling crappy cards with Random Rule:
26.7 % ★
22.7% ★★
17.3% ★★★
13.3% ★★★★ (can only have one anyway even at 60+ obtained cards)
20.0% ★★★★★ (can only have one, some have a weird stat allocation making them not that good in comparison to each others)
If you were to pull one ★★★★ or ★★★★★ card...
Rest of your deck will still be crappy ★ & ★★cards
EDIT: The only advantage to have 60+ cards is to use 4 ★★★ cards, firstly those are pretty easy to get (aside King Moogle maybe), secondly those are in the lowest quantity after ★★★★ (which suck compared to ★★★★★ anyway)
Having more ★★★★ & ★★★★★ in your decks, will just increase your chance of pulling one, rest of your deck won't magically be filled of ★★★cards (and some are just plain 6-6-6 cards aka not stronger than ★★beastmen cards) you will still have a HIGH chance of getting ★& ★★cards..
Tl; dr : Random Rule sucks donkey balls and is worse than in FF VIII
