Female Amalj'aa? Where are they hiding and will we see them?

The males and female may just look very much alike. Kobald females look much like their male counterparts.

Except female Kobolds have whiter fur (unlike male ones who have darker fur).
We've seen some during Order 789th's beast tribe quests.

Don't feel dumb, it's an obscure bit of information. One of the nice things the lore forums can do is act as a collective database. You probably know bits of lore that some of the rest of us don't. If we never asked questions, all that info would never get passed around. I learn so many cool things about Eorzea from threads just like this.

Not 100% true. There's at least one fate boss (schism is one) that is a female Kobold, and has the brown fur.

Those lighter furred female kobolds seemed like uppity snobs, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were pampered and not have to work/mine which might explain their lighter fur color due to not being dirty via mining

If they're lizards then it's possible that the distiguishing feature is that famale amaljaa are larger than their male counterparts. some may also be FATE bosses for all we know.
