For me the 'master caster' tittle is the funniest of them all, and here comes the story of why, short one I promise:

Even if my fisher is 50, I didn't go too much into it, (That said, it's only 50 so my fishertainers can bring me everything I need). I didn't gain those tittles, or if, didn't see it perhaps!.... The case is... I have seen that tittle only on BLMs or SMN in dungeons, so I thought "Hey, what a cool tittle!.... Where could he possibly get it?..." I had to contain my curiosity because pride, and did never check...

Now today I know... Master caster is not someone who is super pro with BLM or SMN, but... A FISHER!...

This is exactly the problem being expressed by the initial poster. Pretty much anyone who sees this title is going to assume that it came from something from SMN or BLM - NOT from FSH. A FSH who has accomplished a difficult task of the sort required to get Master Caster wants people to recognize them as an awesome FSH when they wear the title. It's actually a large part of the reason that I prefer to use "Of Dragons Deep" - even if that, too, doesn't necessarily bring FSH to mind, it's less prone to folks making assumptions.

That said, the existence of a few bum titles doesn't bother me much. Most of them are pretty decent, and it's too much to expect that they'll ALL be winners!
