People emoting to figure out who people are and targetting them

There is probably a reason why you can't see people's names and just their classes, so why do they still allow people to emote at enemies to discover who they are? Everyone that I know is Mael and I am Adder and they tell me they have an emote macro to find me and then focus me. It's not fun always being a target of 16 people on the opposing team just because they know me.

Your problem does sound frustrating, and I am sure nobody wants to be ganged up on, but in most sports it is a legitimate strategy to try to neutralize the best players on the opposing team! And as others have pointed out, simply griefing people for non-strategic reasons decreases your chances of winning the match. I think your "friends" should stop singling you out unless they really need to do so for strategic reasons, in which case it's proof of your awesomeness!!

I actually wish that you could see the other teams' names and shouts, at least if you wanted to!!

Fan festival frontline was particularly awesome because all the players were lined up in 9 rows of 8 PCs/PS4s and you could hear/see the other teams as well as your own teammates. It was cool to watch as well, though I wish there had been big screens and commentary like the LoL regionals.

It would be cool if we could watch frontline matches between the top teams.

Were you there as well??? I was in the first match held immediately after the opening ceremony on the adders side. I was with a small group and I was trying to coach my team on what to do and got really into it and probably started shouting. The guy next to me said he had never done any pvp and then he started laughing and said we were going to lose. I told him we're not losing and to just follow the group. That was my favorite part of fan fest, I got the poster framed as soon as I got home. I regret not running it a few more times.

I wave to Dee Lo in secure all the time. Always nice to see another healer kiting around 4 dps and making them look bad. On a side note Dee Lo quit ninjaing flame op.

You know what could be an interesting challenge... see who can collect the most images of other players who have posted in the PVP forum by catching them randomly in a match and identifying them. If I've run into anyone on here, I wasn't aware of it, but I wasn't looking either.

Being able to catch another player in PVP would be the next best thing to getting a Triple Triad Card of them I suppose- which would be pretty damn cool if like a randomly selected rank 45 from each game could drop a system generated Triple Triad card with their image to a random player at the end.
