Roulettes really need fixing.

Even though more people might need AK or WP, having the roulette the way it is is killing incentive if people like myself keep getting the same dungeon.

I propose a solution: Have the game keep track of your consecutive wins done in expert roulette for the week. It would only keep track of the win you got that rewards you with the daily bonus. Then, for every repeat that week, poetics reward increases by 10. This resets at the regular time each week. You might still only get AK, but the more you run it, the fewer times you have to do roulette to cap poetics.

It might that duty-roulette only puts you in parties where someone selected a dungeon for. As a healer or tank, if you don't want to play those dungeons, intentionally pick something else, and don't duty-roulette more than once. DPS are better off picking duty roulette because that's the only way they will get a shorter queue (by picking the first available duty that has a free DPS slot.)

Changing the rewards will de-balance how it works though. If you're exclusively playing DF roulette, you're always going to get the same dungeons over and over again because of people wanting to farm specific dungeons.

I stopped expert rouletting when snowcloak came. Mind numbing boredom. I feel WP is the new snowcloak, what a fall-asleep-at-bosses snooze fest zz. So many gates T_T ( the ONLY good part is when u save the tonberries *_* ) So do like me, and stop doing expert if u dislike a particular dungeon? Even better, pick one you like \o/

I actually don't mind AKHM, and I really enjoy keeper of the lake. I want more dungeons like KOTL.

Why bother with expert roulette anyways? Not like theres so much to do u need to reduce time spent in dungeons ......to do....what exactly? o\

I think what people here are missing is that queuing solo for roulette checks to see if there's a partial party formed in any of the associated duties. If so, you are linked to that party and will do the dungeon they selected, and you stay there unless DF really, really, really needs you to complete another group. This results in tanks and healers getting quite often sucked into the dungeons that people grind the most, since they're nearly always needed in a party that started out without their role. Once you're chosen to be in that slot, even if the original queuer who chose AK (or whatnot) withdraws, you're still destined for AK (or whatnot). I see people choosing AK over the others all the time, so if your data center prefers to farm poetics in AK, that's where you'll wind up most of the time.

The way to get around this? Queue as a full party with your FC and/or friends. Then it'll pick randomly between the three.
