Gear and Weapons

I've seen the debate on the mount prices and what not, but how is the gear?
I saw level 50 weapons and since I am not lv 50 yet I am not sure if they are any good.

I am sure they will be adding in more items as things get going, but its nice to see diverse prizes.

I dunno, all I know is that some weapons are missing: axe and any books. Apparently it's based on weapons enemies use that people wanted to copy but *shrug* combat's not really my thing so I dunno, I don't pay attention.

Gear is terrible. Only should ever be used for glamour. They don't even have Arcanist and Warrior weapons there :c

If i was a fresh 50 and happened to have credit.. are they kinda good? I mean obviously if your comparing to glamour gear or relics there trash.. but that gear isnt ez to come by for a brand new just hit 50.. I am sure they will add the missing gear.. it only launched two days ago

The gear just sucks. You can easily find other lvl50 gear that can do better. Everything you see in the GS is purely for glamour.

Haven't confirmed it yet but I'm pretty sure your Grand Company gear is more than enough at 50. Start collecting soldiery tomes right away and you'll be fine in a few days.
