Agreed for the most part, although LNC has some decent AOE: Pierce, Heavy Trammel, Leg Sweep, Skewer, and Doom Spike (Not to mention cross-classed Circle Slash, Aura Pulse, or Brandish). If you can line 'em up, that's a lot of damage. In practice, though, it's a lot easier to AOE as a MRD.

Why do you think MRD is better than GLA to defend against multiple adds? There isn't really anything specific to a MRD that it can do against multiple adds as opposed to a single target. I would agree that holding hate against multiple mobs would be easier for a MRD, but again, not anything specific to defense.

In my opinion, I do think MRD should have a boost to defense against multiple adds, specifically, to enhance that "AOE specialist" flavor.
