Twisting what I said to have this venmon is pretty childish.

Jumping adds immersion to the game. And it is hard to suggest this due to the realism crowd who mis use the word for immersion.

There is a difference between fantasy and stupidity. Adding for sake of is stupid. Giant toads are infact part of ff lore. Like giant turtles. Genbu is dipicted as a massive turtle.

You presented and argument and I just presented a counter-argument. I didn't try to do it in a disrespectful way and I don't think I've been impolite. I'm not trying to troll or anything just to present my opinions.

It's true that immersion and realism get misused often. However what is immersion and isn't is not the same for everyone. Same thing for what you call the difference between fantasy and stupid. I know that the stuff i post were really extreme examples however what could seem alright for someone will seem downright stupid for someone else.

That's why the jumping debate among other will never end. It's not a debate of facts or what is better but simply one of opinions.

As a matter of fact, i don't have a strong opinion about jump. Ideally i'd like either no jump or a jump with a few limitation like can't move as fast while jumping but I can live with whatever they'll add in the end.

I might have do it in a bad way but I just wanted to say that realism and fantasy aren't incompatible and that wanting realism isn't a bad thing. Like for jumping it's just a matter of opinions.
