I was in the Gold Saucer and doing ok, the problem started when I tried to get into an instance. My character is not even in Gold Saucer anymore, he's in Keeper of the Lake, says the game. That's definetly not the problem we're experiencing.

They kinda don't get that it has not entirely to do with Golden Saucer. God damnit Developers, just restart the freaking Instance servers and we all going to be free.

Managed to get through to chat support and this is the length of my conversation.

You: Yep
SEE Agent Chris: We are aware of the issue and are currently investigating. We can only suggest trying to access the game later.
You: And all because the instance servers have crashed.
You: Well when can I expect to play?
You: I will be relaying all this to a forum so that the many players reporting on there will hopefully have an answer.
SEE Agent Chris: We do not have a time scale on when the matter will be resolved and would advise checking the lodestone at eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/news/ for updates on the issue
You: Well can there be something posted on there?
You: Even if it is just a ''Hey guys we're really sorry about this we know there is an issue and we're trying to fix it?''

You: So far there has been NO comms from SE's end unless it is about Gold Saucer and I think that's a shame and that just some acknowledgement would keep players happy.

So hopefully soon there will be a post about it on the lodestone the reality is there probably isn't. In my initial description of the problem I told them not to tell me it was GS related because I wasn't dumb XD

Booked two days off of work for these patches. Fuck it, I'm going to go and play something else. Hopefully it's fixed by the time I'm supposed to raid tonight.

I really and highly doubt that it is a Golden Saucer problem, when people who queue for duties get stuck in an infinite load screen loop, and when you force quit you end up in a forever loading screen when you choose the character you want to log into, I am highly irritated, they brought the servers up an hour early in which case I assume they thought it was all peachy to do so. Apparently it was not peachy.

My character is still in login limbo, as well. Keeper of the Lake must be a nice place to be stuck in, heh.
Happened about an hour ago. Wonder if I will be able to play before people get their Zeta done. :X
