Odin's Shield; Will we ever get this?

While the development team does not have a time frame for when Odin’s Shield will be implemented, there are plans to add a way to obtain the shield in the future.

Ha thanks for posting this, now I remember why I was levelling my Gladiator again. Would be cool though if we could get new mythological characters to add to the Odin/Behemoth category, there's plenty of Summons (or whatever you want to call them) to choose between from prior games. Then you could introduce themed gear for a class with a tie-in to theirs, vs. having an Odin-everything (bow, staff, grimoire) introduced... though it does kinda suck there's no gear for DPS's/Healers in this category, other than one second-place DoW Behemoth mask that's much less cool than the helm, and then the lol DoM Behemoth mask and that stupid dragoon spear.

That's about the only type of open world large scale content so far that doesn't create more collective misery than good... ATMA fating is retarded esp since it's in lower level synch'd areas primarily... Hunts, enough said.

Ok.. so Odin is now a 8 man raid single raid boss.. No sign of his shield in his drop tables.

Yeah, I know. You can get all of his armor, his sword, AND his horse (sure, last via cash shop, but still)... but nope, no shield.

What drives me under a rug is that they said they'd introduce a way to obtain his shield. The recently released Odin trial would have been a perfect way to implement said shield as a drop rate; yet there is no shield in his loot tables..I seriously hope this DOES NOT become a gold saucer token reward..
