I'm going to express a similar sentiment...

How is AK HM actually hard? I think I've had a failure rate of around maybe 10% on the first time for the DPS checks, and never wiped a second time.

Oh well, to each their own. I get WP most of the time in the Exp Roulette.

Tho I gotta say after 2 weeks i stopped doing Dr expert because all I get is WP >.> and there gotta say was in with a offclass smn and a newly i90 smn.... we wiped first boss a few times due to low dps lol
(But i guess I should do dr expert again because need those alex.. *sigh* )

I keep getting WP HM and have stopped with ex roulette. I like Keeper, Ak HM is fun with a good group but I rarely ever get either one. Same reason I stopped the low level roulettes Cutters Cry everyday. Forget it. Would be nice if they built something in that prevents you from getting the samething everyday, though harder to do with ex roulette since there are only 3 choices.

It's not just Ex-Roulette. Whenever tank is needed in Trial Roulette, I get Garuda 80% of the time (6 times in a row now). Joined as healer when it was needed, got Ifrit/Shiva/Ramuh.
Maybe it depends on your class/role?

I was on full dps gear without defiance and the whm also put dps where he could and after 3 wipes we made it but yes its a pain... dots tick too slow for first boss DPS check

Ex roulette has 2 outcomes

1) Get a good team (about 30% of the time)
2) Get a decent team - a team that at least have done the instance and don't need babysitting
3) A baddie team - DPS who can't even reach 300 DPS to save their lives, and/or people who cannot/choose not to learn the proper mechanics on doing boss fights.

I'm still having nightmares of a SMN during Ex roulette who, after at least 6 wipes + my explanation on how to do the mechanics goes and says "I don't understand..."

Nothing to fix, when you clicked that roulette - you gave yourself to be put it any of the 3 dungeons - whether you like it or not - whether that's the only one you get or not.

They just need to make it more than 3 dungeons. Keep the 3 from this patch and the 3 from the last, I'd be happy with that. 2.3 I got Hullbreaker every time, 2.4 I got Snowcloak every time, this one I seem to get a pretty decent mix for once.
