Dye Request, like Meld Request but with dyes!

please try to stay on topic, i want to know if you guys think it would be a nice idea, or why it would be a bad one.

for me, i see people putting up party finders all the time offering to dye gear with some of the rare dyes that cannot be traded. i wanted some of my pvp gear dyed pure white but that stuff binds the instant you get it. why i thought this might be a useful idea to make it a little bit better for everyone.

I'm sorry, I misread the topic.
As for the idea, I like it. Added security for a fairly standard service without sacrificing anything in return. I can't think of a downside to the player.

I'd much rather have a request repair and request to craft option than this this request to dye would just make it easier for people to sell cash shop stuff for gil.

Personally I don't mind being able to sell cash shop items. In this game, gil is mostly for glamour. Plus if they get it from SE and not the gil seller's I think that's better, since it costs money to improve servers for more free company housing/whatever and add new content.
