1 hour of game time =/= 20 years of pirating as a man. If you're using Faris as an example of how crossdressing is average and/or well-accepted in the FF universe, you chose very poorly.

Something doesn't have to be considered average or acceptable by how characters react in game lore to exist as a theme that fits game lore.

I don't know if I should wear that outfit. When both genders have access to the same outfit, it confuses my weak mind and I start to lose grasp on who I am.
