Another DPS with Dex sounds Dumb

Its going to be DEX. There really isnt going to be a debate about this one. Reloading and firing guns quickly, tinkering with turrets...all dexterous tasks. Maybe knowing how to build and use turrets would be a more INT related task, but the actual mechanics of the job? DEX all the way.

DRK and Astrologian also have known stats; VIT/STR for the tank, MIN/PIE for the healer.

Except, that won't really work, because it's already been stated he will use dark magic, so it's also possible that it has a combo of str/int, or the attacks could be dealt magic damge, making it vit/int.

Vit is a no-brained for any tank class, but the damage stat could be a little different than notmal, do to the previously stated nature of his attacks and what it will have access to

As disappointing as it is, I don't think they'll make Dark Knight use INT. Ninjutsu is magic damage and INT does nothing for it. Dark Knight will just be the first Tank to really benefit from a Bard as far as damage goes.

Only pointed it out as a possibility. I can see how it would work, but that means effort in making the system work, str is already there, so I highly doubt someone would work at figuring int into a pre-existing and relatively well built mold

You can still use magic without having a main stat in int. Ninja for instance uses Ninjitsu's which count as spells even though they are Dex.

Fending gear is Vit gear. Every class has a secondary "main" stat on their left side pieces. Most classes have Vit in that slot. For tanks Str is in that slot. You can tell that Vit is the primary stat by looking at the accessories which never have str. They have Vit.

I'm not sure your point. Its still STR/VIT.
