Is FFXIV up against the clock?

Oh, I forgot some stuff:

"Wrath of the Lich King is being released, FFXI is done for."

So in short, nothing can kill an MMO but itself -- APB died because it just wasn't that great and they didn't even attempt to bounce back, someone else is doing it for them.

Ironicallly (though this depends entirely on one's perspective of the direction SE's taken XI in the past couple years), it seems the only one to "kill" XI in any sense is going to be SE lol.
