Thing is I'm in a Japanese server and I don't really speak much Japanese. If the coil involves strategizing then maybe my priority would be learning more Japanese first. It's a bit tricky going in and out of the game to google translate in the middle of a battle. I guess I have to figure it out, and see what I can manage to do gear-wise and team-wise. I mean, it's not a huge deal if I can't get to do the coils, but would be interesting to try to.

BCoB is easy right now because a lot of crafters are farming it for mats. However, if you want to go to BCoB without looking like a scrub with bad gear, I suggest you try to farm some gears at either Crystal Tower or Syrcus Tower.

Ah, I personally considered the original story to officially end after relic was obtained.

Noahlimits, what relic are you talking about? What I did so far was try to do all the quests which open after level 50 so I can unlock all dungeons, and did main storyline at same time, and to obtain the weapon and to unlock crystal tower. So it's a lot, but I think it's working ok so far. I do the main scenario roulette which usually gives me around 200 soldiery (adventurer in need plus new player usually in the dungeon gives bonus) so I am saving the soldiery to upgrade all my kit to level 100. I haven't unlocked crystal tower yet but I think I will manage soon. Either way, I'm looong way away from having all gear level 100. If I only get 200 soldiery a day, it will take around a month. Not to mention I saw how hard it is to get poetics, so to get all gear level 120 would take around 6 months or more. so if people are hoping they can get the gear quickly, dream on. But I like the quests that opened after level 50 - I think they are fun.

They're talking about the quest "A Relic Reborn" for your class-exclusive relic weapon.

Since you are a Paladin, yours would start with Curtana/Holy Shield and end with Excalibur/Aegis.

first coil gear is pretty outdated, I would say to focus on Poetic/Soldiery gear and unlocking World of Darkness for gears there first and then go back to coil and work your way up to final coil. And yes coil fights takes a bit more coordination compared to dungeons

I am doing the relic reborn quest, but it's so hard. It's the longest quest I've ever done. Also doing other quests parallel to it, since it relies a lot on dungeons, so I can only do it when there's busy time on japanese servers which is mornings here in the UK where I live. So I have around an hour or two when it's busy each day, otherwise everything is dead - no ones doing FATEs or duty finder. I will look up World of Darkness too .
I tried not to check how long the Relic reborn quest is, because I like to be surprised when the NPC asks me to do something. I don't like knowing the whole end of the quest. I really found it annoying at this quest when I was thinking: this is it, I'll finally get the weapon, and he goes like: actually there's one more thing, then I do that, and he goes and one last thing, and I do that, then he goes, and the finishing touch, I do that too, and then he goes: actually can you bring me a million things. And I'm like: whaaaaat *cry* hehe

Oh yeah, and already I've been starting to buy level 100 gear with soldiery and I have a lot of items so far. I think in a week or two I'll have all items level 100. But it's been quite long. I didn't realise there was so much content after level 50.
