What threads closed? And Wynn, that's 1 word to another million from Foxbat. What's your point, either of you? You get insults because you have deftly earned them. However, unlike you, I don't thrive on hearing the sound of my own voice and/or my post count. Board ban? .... lol /shrug.
Lucky you. What about those of us who aren't so fortunate to have multiple accounts? Ever think of anyone but yourself? Wait, don't answer that..
and +1 self like :P

I was just pointing out that your spelling wasn't perfect either. In my opinion, spelling is mutable anyway. As long as you understand the word, who cares how it is spelled?
In any event, serious response to OP:
I like that anima is limited because I think unlimited teleporting would make this world seem smaller than it already does. Plus we will have other modes of transport eventually. You pointed out chocobos and then there will be airships as well. Have you seen the airship docks out in the wilds? Those will be great transport when they finally arrive.
Even just running really doesn't take all that long. Compared to XI, running in XIV is a breeze. I can run from Ul'dah to the ship to Limsa in under eight minutes. It is cake.
ok I get it anima is limited but that's why people conserve it. Like say i was at camp black brush, I would run to ul dah instead of teleing there.
you realize how many people are so lazy they wont even run that far?
those are the kinda people who complain the most about lack of anima too

Turn thatupside down! =)
Yikes, Xoo. You seem upset.
Vedis is right.
chocobos are only limited in 1.19 to city states. they also plan for you to have your own that you can summon.Although there isn't a whole lot I absolutely cannot tolerate about this game anymore, there is still one thing that doesn't make much sense to me: Anima. Every day I log in now and I start forming a group to go grind with, which is usually shy of a Full PT by a few members, and as we grind, we wait for others who might like to join us. As much as they would like to, a few of them decline simply because they do not have what it takes to get to camp in a reasonable amount of time.
My question is, how does limiting the most practical mode of transportation to a finite resource conducive to community play? The psychological effect that perhaps inhibits a person from even logging in could be the fact that they know that they are low on anima and there is no reliable alternative to allow them the basic joys of playing. It is a defeat no one should suffer simply because they move about often ingame.
Chocobos are coming, but it seems their only availability will be from city-states. How long, and what will it take to get yourself from Limsa to Camp Nine Ivies on short notice? You could try to shout for a gil offering if you are low/out of Anima, but generally that's to no avail since it's consumable, and at this point is almost priceless.
I wouldn't mind a temp anima increase to offset the incomplete game but once all methods of travel are complete they will need to be balanced.
