Went to gamestop today so it was up and it was that much.
For the collectors edition is most likely going to be $60 dollars (but this is just a guess).

most online shops are just speculating atm they have had it for 99$ and released december 2015 at amazon when was 1st announced lol so yeah im waitin for official announcement from SE doubtful its gonna be anywhere near that price considering u can get the full game for half that price

Because Gamestop is more official than the actual game creators who, up until now, have not even hinted at a price. Right.

Nothings official until SE makes it official and they haven't given any prices yet. Though $40 sounds right for the expansion i wouldn't expect the physical CE to be $60. It comes with that sweet Midgardsormr statue. Expect that to be anywhere from $80 as a low optimistic price to $120.

$40 sounds like the price for a physical copy. Digital copies could be cheaper.

I think the price will be higher then $60 because it comes with that statue. There hasn't been any recent SE CE for their games that has been less then $100 recently..

If you hear the date or price of something from a retailer before an official announcement has been made, it means they making it up. Retailers fill in the blanks with placeholder info (a guess) until they actually know anything.

It was said in a live letter that the expansion will cost around 1800 yen, roughly its not official, that is around $20.
