[DEV] Guildleve glitch PLEASE HELP

I have my shield at 40, my gladiator is a 34, and i am not able to take level 40 guild leve's and my whole linkshell can im the only one who cant. so i know it must be a bug because before the last few updates i was able to take level 40 guild leves cuz my shield was high enough. please help

Maybe it was changed in the last update? Apparently, the changed the minimum level at which new leves become available, so that instead of r40 leves becoming available at r33, they're now available at r35.

Otherwise, I'd suggest posting this in the In Game Bugs forum.

hmmm maybe you are right but my shield is a 40, id say they are not goin by shieeld anymore but i can take the main/side quests up to lvl 40 because of my shield so not sure... i posted it on the bug spot thanks again for showin it to me.

It's not a bug, i dont believe that shield is considered as a seperate class when it comes to requirements.
As for your ability to get rank 40 leves before the patch, before the change the minimal rank for attaining a leve was -7 ranks.
Ie, every 3x ranks. Since your glad is 34, your gladiator was a high enough rank to get the rank 40 leves (requirement of rank 33), before the patch, however its now rank 35 requirement, so your glad is one rank to low.

To sum it up, your available leves were never calculated by shield rank in the first place.

Not true. Before the patch, if your shield rank was 33, and every other class was below 33, you could still get r40 leves. Yes, I tested it.

I have no idea if that's still true, or if it's changed.

I also noticed this. I was R33 Gladiator with my shield around R36 and prior to 1.18 I was able to take R40 leves. After 1.18, I could no longer take R40 leves and couldn't do so until I hit R35 Gladiator. It appears Sentinel is no longer considered a class for the sake of rank requirements.
