So why don't you glamor your gear

Either you like to glamor or you don't (or cba),
There are alot of people who do (i'm one) and I think a game like an MMO kinda makes you wanna stand out from the other players.

There are plenty of nice glamors, you just have to look for the right combinations of gear. (Yeah that is a metal blue dye, DON'T JUDGE ME ;_; )

That was my reaction too, this game needs more robes where only certain parts are dyed and not fully like cashmere.

cause sometimes the original gear looks nice already.
i'm more curious why ppl put glamour on stuff like HA tank body (which in my opinion is one of the best looking armors in the game)
and as other said, tank pieces for both pld/war....i'd want different looks, but not different sets. I'd want pld in something more traditionally full plate, while warrior has something more barbaric; so im using WoD stuff+myth helm for war.
for adds i usually dont bother much with glamour, i just keep them in the gear i think looks good. so my war uses myth helm ilv90, and WoD body/gloves/boots. that way i dont even need to glamour
for ppl that think it's expensive.....really?? kill the 10 diremites in north shroud, and you get enough webs for several crystals -.- well if you wanna buy the new ilv110 gear, that cost like 3mil...that's a problem ofc. but there's plenty of stuff aside from that.

Kind of the reason I went with the "slumming it" approach with the mildew gear. Then again... maybe my toon is a closet hipster.

Most probably don't glamour since gear gets outdated so often that it can get annoying and expensive to keep glamouring everything.

Once you find a glamour you like the only cost in keeping it is a couple of prims when upgrading your gear - not expensive or annoying at all, it takes one minute.

Some of the higher level gear looks really good, especially once it is able to be dyed. I often end up glamouring just the boots, gloves, hats and legs and leaving the body piece in its original form. I like looking like a healer or a tank or a summoner or whatever rather than bikini-clad-girl-#2057.

Also, since I predominantly play casters, my gear options are more limited than the options of many. There are fewer gear sets that can be used by mages.
