    Way too many tears and self-entitlement in this thread...

    If someone asks to be kicked because of this stupid penalty system, just kick them.
    What on earth do you have to gain?

    You seriously think that holding someone against their will will get 100% performance?

    Everyone has different goals in this game: if a party is so bad, they got their 1 item for the entire week, or they just want out then let them go.

    I have never seen such a 'force them to play no matter what' mentality in the 14 years i been playing MMOs as I see here.

    Most of this is SE's fault for the way they designed the game. All the DPS checks, skill requirements, research needed for the coil fights, dance mechanics and the lockouts.

    If SE is serious about keeping players for the entire run, they should step up the rewards. Lock coil drops like tower so you can get at least one item a week, have bonus poetic/sol if you enter tower when you already got your item, and make the rewards in the dungeons scale up as it takes longer.

    Also it would be really nice if the relic weapon series would stop forcing people who beat the content to play with those who haven't. I really hate how i am working on some Ilvl 100+ weapon with the healer that has a leaf next to their name...

    I'm already starting to report people who go afk or offline, expecting to be kicked. Stop wasting my time just because you don't want to accept your punishment for leaving early. Lots of duties I queue for take forever to actually start up and just having someone throw up their hands and walk out ruins it for the remaining 3-7 people.

    Why do you think that the relic sends us back through older content? It was designed that way for a reason. Most of the people on this game wouldn't give that healer with the leaf a second look, much less queue with him or her for a dungeon. SE knows this (it's not just this playerbase, it's a general MMO thing), so yes veteran players get funneled back through older content so that newer people can progress through the dungeons they need for quest completion. Do you have any clue what the queues would be like without that? Something tells me you haven't even given it a passing thought. God forbid we should like, y'know, help newer players progress or anything. I can't say that I enjoy having to go back and run content all the way back to Satasha, but I can say that I see the wisdom in it. I'm actually always pretty happy when I do get new players in my group when I'm working on my relic because it proves to me that the system is actually working as intended.

    If helping newbies bothers you that much, just find three other people and queue in a premade.

    One thing I think they should implement is if someone is kicked then it is made impossible to re-enter the same instance. If kicked unfairly, why would you want to go back to that? Report and move on.

    Also a mod pointed out that going AFK for the intention to be kicked is a reportable offence.

    If they wanna get kicked then kick them.

    If they dont leave and decide to troll, kick them after the trash/boss fight is over.

    If they do troll mid fight then theres still 2 tanks, 5 healers or 14 other dps that can make up for their trolling.

    It really is that simple and to those that say "not doing your job" is warrant for ban:

    "AFK be back soon" *flips up phone and waits for kick*

    Yes, i agree it was designed that way, I will even agree that it works as designed.
    Doesn't mean i like it.

    As for the self-entitlement, yea it applies when the first 4 pages of this post can be summarized with one sentence:
    "Wah wah, people want to leave, SE make them suffer!"

    Some of the posts were asking for a kick causing a lockout that lasts until reset, others were saying that when they kick a person, that the 'kicked' person should get punished in other ways.

    Seriously, worst thing SE could do is put that kind of power in the hands of this toxic community.


    When a party cant win, it shouldn't be a choice between: Bang my head on a wall or be punished for their failures.

    This is a game, it should be fun... not a grind & punish themed version of medieval dance dance revolution.

    One of the many draw backs of these "party/dungeon finder" mmos. MMOs that almost completely rely on that feature will always have this problem.

    Also, just a side question, what do a lot of people have against kicking players that want to be kicked? Especially DPS classes.

    I am not too sure what you are complaining about ? this tool is already abused with the green light of SE, so really why complain ? As long as the one that gave that tool is not willing to undertake the necessary checks to avoid abuse, and they have stated more and more that they do not care about it and is a decision among players, writting in here, complaining and demanding is beyond any logical action. Suck it up and live with it.

    You could ask peple to grow up but that would imply that they do understand the meaning of *responsability* and most dont understand it they dont need to do they?
