The Hunt Public Shaming Needs to end

Every time i see someone get public shamed by someone on my service for an "early Pull" they it ticks me off.

A.) there were about 40+ People at the spot waiting for the hunt
B.) its the SAME person doing the shaming and it has not nor will it change since hunts first started
C.) I'll call you out every time on shout for bring a prick.

It literally serves no purpose as it will not lead to anything as only a fraction of the service does hunts anyway.

The early pulling needs to end. If someone doesn't want to be publicly shamed, all he has to do is to be a decent human being and wait.

Early pullers fully deserve the public shaming.

Thing is... Is that it's really hard to "define" early pulling.

On one hand you have many players camping out at the hunt, patiently waiting for others they hear on /shout are coming. After about 4+ minutes of patiently waiting, you get late comers that either just got wind of the hunt, because they just logged in, came back from making dat sammich among other things... And on another hand you those that pull as soon as they arrive with their hunt group...

As I suggested earlier in another thread. If there was a lockout circle around the hunt (for 2-4 minutes tops) the moment it was discovered, which would immediately display a message to ALL players on the map (color based on Rank). This would solve the rants of early pulling. The message that would display in the zone would allow players enough time to notify their FC/LS/etc of the hunt AND get to the location.

If you cannot get there in 2-4 minutes, that's your own fault... and see you next hunt.

It's very easy to avoid early pulling. Just don't be the goon that pulls.

Before SE made hunts a mess again, we had linkshells organizing pulls with shouts and public communication. They waited a reasonable amount by hearing people's calls and giving reasonable count downs in shout. No one pulled early. No one complained when they missed a hunt because they were given reasonable time and reasonable advance notice that the mob would be pulled.

Everyone behaved as decent human beings and all went well, and guess what? People didn't really waste time, because pulls don't normally spawn back to back, and even if they did, they were just done orderly in sequence. Everyone got more rewards for their time, with no hurry and no problems.

Now the goons are back, and everything has gone to crap. Everyone gets less and everyone is bitter.

Those that don't care for waiting for others and just pull as soon as they see a hunt mob deserve the public shaming and to be shunned by the community like the damaging elements they are. They deserve to be kicked from linkshells, groups and free companies and to be generally isolated. They have absolutely no justification or excuse. Their behavior is inefficient for everyone and makes hunting an unrewarding chore for the vast majority of the community. Defending them is almost as shameful as what they do.

I feel like the rest of my post fell on blind eyes... That goon you refer to could have been the 1st person that discovered said hunt with his hunt group(s) that patiently waited for double, triple or even quadruple or more of the time frame it took you to get there... but because they pulled before you got there, makes them the bad guy. That is wrong.

I'm not saying that there are not those that pull the moment they get there, but it seems there is no line between a patient person that waited a long period of time vs one who pulls as soon as they arrive...

This is my last post on this most stupid if stupidest subjects THERE...IS...NO...SUCH...THING...AS...AN...EARLY...PULL.
Youv all got it in your heads that every one has a right to hunts well they do BUT big but they don't person finds it they have the right to pull it right there and then or wait but people who show up after wards HAVE THE SAME RIGHT TO PULL IT IF IT HASNT BEEN PULLED YET. Youv all got it in your heads that these people are trolling you all when the big fact is their playing the game with in the rules.

It dose not matter how you manipulate your words in chat voice or what ever the heck you people use Morse code in thinking that just saying a persons name just after or waiting to die to find their name is in a for no matter how you say it is harassment just stop.

You can make all the stupid unofficial rules on this you want but people are free to pull when ever they will please don't hate or harass some one who doesn't follow your mind set enough's enough

While I agree with the context of your post. The delivery needed some fine-tuning lol. Calling people stupid for not seeing your point is as bad as the people shaming others for "early pulling."

Instead of people raging at others for pulling, they should try suggesting something to fix the issue... The rest of this is just unnecessary raging and childish drama lol.

The patient person has plenty ways to avoid early pulling. We have means of communication for a reason in this game. Some use them, some don't.

Some don't WANT to use them, because the typical early puller doesn't do it to get better rewards for himself (because early pulling gives no practical advantage) he does it to prevent others from getting the rewards.

How do you define what "early pulling" is? Just because the last person that said "Wait!" has not arrived? Or the one after that person? Or the one after that one? Or wait! What about the one after that one and that one etc...?
