Just a warning, don't spurn RNGesus's gifts, or he will smite thee badly.

My very first attempt to make my very first off-hand i70 tool, I hit Great Strides at 20% and got an Excellent. I was so excited and happy and Byregot's to 100% that I immediately hit my Synths to finish. But instead of the 71's I was expecting, I saw 55's. I. had. forgotten. Ingenuity II. *so so so much crying and screaming and ripping my hair out and hitting myself falling down stairs, I swear, officer >_> <_<*

I had barely enough CP and 10 durability for a single Standard Synth because before starting I had thought Rapid Synth would be a waste compared to Reclaim, but my previous attempts for 3-star items on another class had netted the 89 progress that I actually had remaining, so I thought I was saved. 88. Because my other class had slightly more Craftsmanship on it. ;n;

My next three attempts all came to 71% and all three came out NQ. Finally, my 5th attempt succeeded at 82%.

Just a couple days ago, I was making just a Wolfram Ingot for another i70 tool and wasting time until my friend's got back to hang out. First one sucked, so I reclaimed and ran it out. Except I ran it out with CSII so I got a NQ ingot. :I

Okay, try again. After Great Strides, Ing II, SHI, I was looking at my remaining CP and figured oh yeah I can still get an Innovation in there. Inn, Byregot's to 100%, a couple CSII's, and.....Ing II runs out right before my last CSII. I looked back. Ing II before SHI, before Inn. 0 CP remaining, and still haven't learned to put Rapid Synth on my bar. I can't believe how dumb I am. *an infinity of facepalms*

The next retry sucked, so I reclaimed and ran it out, properly this time. No items back. -___- I quit for the day.

Decided on a whim to run Garuda HM because I want the SCH weapon for Glamour. So I queue up thinking OK, I'll probably have to run this 5-10 times so I toss on a movie, grab some coffee and a snack.

<5 minutes later, and OP PUG group burns Garuda without using strategy and what do I find in the coffer? My lovely new SCH book. /need

Now if RNGesus would help me get that Royal Vest I need I'll be all good!

Hmmm you decide to do drhigh in hopes of hitting one of the dungeons you need for your drop... you get the dungeon... and at the end... it drops that first time you actually did it for that item.

Now I have an odd HQ Intricate Silver Brocade I have no idea what to do with.

I believe you can desynth those now.

As for my luckiest bits of RNG, getting baby opo-opo minion within the first couple of weeks of 2.2 + going 1/1 on 6 of my zodiac dungeons = one happy drg kitteh :3

A bit of fishing RNG love:
Old Man in the Sea is a patch 2.4 Big Fish with a lot of RNG required to catch it. For you non-fishers:
- It only appears during sunny, cloud-free weather immediately following rainy weather
- The only bait that will catch it is if you fish up a HQ Ogre Barricuda and then immediately cast it back into the water as bait (mooching). The chances of catching HQ fish are roughly 20%.
- There are two other fish that also use HQ Ogre Barricuda as bait, both much more likely to bite than the Old Man in the Sea.
- To catch an Ogre Barricuda in the first place you need to catch a HQ Harbor Herring to use as bait (Old Man in the Sea is a Double Mooch). Again, about a 20% chance of HQ.
- There is one other fish that will bite the same bait as Harbor Herring; roughly 50% chance it will be one or the other.
- On top of all this, if you actually manage to hook the fish, there's a decent chance that the fish will fight free of the line and get away.

So, the weather aligns, and I cast my line off into the Rhotano Sea. I fish up an HQ Harbor Herring. "A good start!" I think, and cast the fish back in to mooch. I get a HQ Ogre Barricuda. Okaaay... Sure, I'll take it! I cast again. Big tug on the line! I've either hooked a Gigant Octopus, or the Old Man himself! I reel it in, and sure enough, I've caught the Old Man in the Sea. My very first attempt at catching it, and my very first cast of the line.

My first ever T7 win, I won the HA Robe of Healing, which I had wanted so badly.

During my quests for Nirvana and the Last Resort, got the Aurum Vale drops the first time, both times.

I was doing my experts, and I got Qarn HM. First I didn't even know a minion dropped from this dungeon, second, it dropped and I was like, isn't that cute.

lotted a 99 never seen that minion again, and I have done that dungeon plenty!

on the other end of the spectrum, did Brayfox, saw the minion for the very first time, lotted 36 or something, lost that one lol, I'm happy with my Mummy though
