    Jokes aside:

    I only think some players would just go for Machinist just because it is a Gun Job (the whole Guns are cool issue, belief, and stuff). It is possible that the same thing may happen to Machinist like what happened to bard with how a good amount of people may not be utilizing Machinist's full potential.
