Oooooo... I love this response!!!- A Healer with the ability to keep the party alive should not be marked as HORRIBLE healer like someone implied, because their job is to heal, not to DPS,end of story. As long as the party is alive and kicking, they have fulfilled the duty. They are ORIGINAL Healer.
- A Healer with the ability to DPSing as much as they are comfortable with while topping the whole party up is an EXCEPTIONAL Healer.
Long story short, you DO NOT expect Healer to dps or call them HORRIBLE for not doing so, just because they are uncomfortable. Any DPS on top is just a extra bonus that set those who can apart from the rest, making them standing out as an Exceptional individual. And if anyone push that DPS duty upon healer while they are clearly not confident in doing so, you are a jerk and deserved to have a boot up your butt.
P/S: By no means, I am insinuating OP

lol oh wow. that's a really extreme case. well actually thinking about it it seems pretty normal on this game D:But on the other hand, TC, I totally understand where you're coming from. It happens on all ends. I recall saying, {Regen} {Can I have it?}. His response, "don't have it yet". I said {Understood}.
He then replied (while not healing me due to typing), if you're concerned about Regen, find yourself another healer. Then he left.
probably just mmo's in general though, which is sad

If someone tells me to DPS while I am healing. I ignore them and pretend like I'm one of them deaf mutes.
But in all seriousness. I am hating Free Companies every day, because most Free Companies are just full of hot air. Most of the members are over sensitive, can't take a joke and usually run to the FC Leader or Officer when I decide to make a sex joke or toss in some dry humor. I remember being called a pedophile when I first joined an old FC of mine (Won't name them) but when I retaliated and made fun of the person for being fat, they took it personally. Don't dish it out if you can't fucking handle it and need to run to your nearest officer. It's why I hate most FC's they cater to these kinds of babies and it pisses me off to the point of where I can never find an FC that can handle me.

Not to play the devil's advocate here, but I wouldn't assume to understand the whole story because I don't know what conditions the person was under. Maybe they were playing with 800-1000ms ping and didn't want to risk it (I know first hand that stance-dancing at those pings can lead to wipes since skills don't activate right away when clicked). Maybe he was a normal PC player who was using a PS4 for the very first time and wasn't comfortable with it (it's a huge change getting used to 1 after using the other for many months). Maybe he plays without a keyboard and couldn't explain to you his problems efficiently using just the auto-translate. Maybe he doesn't even keep the chat on the screen (I have a friend on PS4 that almost exclusively uses voice chat since he really only plays with other PS4 users). Maybe it was his first time running that dungeon in a while, or maybe his first time healing it.
I'm not saying they were right to kick you OP, but I'm not saying they were wrong either. Without proof of what you said, for all I know you could be lying. Even under the assumption that you're being 100% truthful, I can't cast blame on them without knowing the exact issues they may have been having.

Q20: Will we ever be able to send tells from within an instanced area?
A20: While the feature can be implemented, it’s currently masked. It’s currently masked because we would like to prevent players from harassing each other just because they know they would never party together in the future. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully as we move forward.

Imho, healers should help with dps if there is significant downtime and there is little to no possibility that it could cause for the tank, or any dps, to get KO'd. I'm not a fan of all party members going all out to try to get something done, while someone stands in the back throwing out cures when/if they feel like it with a huge pool of unused mp. If you're gonna contribute to the party, make a full contribution. Any dps could just as easily say they use retarded, half ass, rotations cause that's how they prefer to play even though they should be at, say for example, 250+ dps but they are barely doing 150 dps because, you know... they don't feel comfortable playing their job appropriately. SE gave healers dps spells for a reason. Sometimes that extra bit of dps can really make a difference.
On topic: That was rude of those guys to kick the OP. He merely said, "Holy?" and the healer got butthurt so they kicked the poor guy. As a brd it's helpful to know what songs should be played to be of most benefit to the party. The healer should have at least said {No thanks.} or explained that they don't feel comfortable dps'ing, but instead the OP was straight kicked from the dungeon. That's not cool. Especially after he had to wait in DPS QUEUE. The TANK and the HEALER caused him to get kicked. Their queues are almost instant. The OP probably waited a considerable amount of time for the duty to even commence. You guys keep on taking up for the tank and healer. Cause the cool cats always instantaneously kick people that say one word that they don't feel is appropriate. Right?

like i said to the other dude, don't blame you for doubting with no proof. not going to bother a new friend to come on a forum to support an unimportant story lol and even then it wouldn't prove anything. even if they were suffering from a full mental breakdown(if they were they really shouldn't have been playing)i find it rather silly to kick people over so little.
months ago when bray hm was still spammed for myth i had a fc kick me for saying lala names were silly lol(the ones that rhyme, there's examples of npc's that have those kinds of names). that instance turned ugly though. i also have runs that turned bad over something silly but didn't result in a kick because i had a friend with me.
which reminds me they need to fix the kick feature. i've heard from stories of friends and randoms that it some times doesn't even ask all of the other members. the bard friend i met in the amdapor run said it never asked her so it came down to the two fc members and of course they're going to back each other. seems like another broken feature :/
Yes there are lot of sensitive people and I don't blame them It just thier personal habit , but for kicking people just for said "Holy?" it a bit too extreme.
2 day ago I did low lv story dungeon with my friends and got put in to the group with high lv tank , me and my friends run this dungeon first time and that tank keep doing mean emo to my friends ( I don't know what he did wrong ) after end of the dungeon that tank emo "slap" to my friends and leave.
When we got out of the dungeon my friends didn't rage or said anything bad about that tank at all . he just said he's so scared that tank.
then I said to him that may be that tank just see you adorable and want to slap you.
( I don't know what actually intention of that tank but I couldn't careless since I only see him once and that it. )
some people just very sensitive with word or act something , but they also have to kept that sensitive emotion inside little bit if they want to live in this world with other
( just keep grind that sensitive emotion and when it has reach the limit then enrage them to your close friendsDDD)
sorry for my broken english.![]()
