Having a chime on trade offers and party invites would be awesome.

this is fine as long as i can turn the clime/ping sound off in config. Would be annoying as hell if someone spammed it in your /tell bar or multple people are sending you /tell messages.
Maybe it should only ping if your not..
A... Not typing
B... Not doing anything.. like your in Sleep Mode
C... Have a 2min time limit till next /tell to Ping.

Yes to chime, please and double yes to <call>! It was such an inventive feature in XI. Being able to run to the kitchen and grab some food during down time and knowing that if something went wrong (over eager puller, random aggro) I'd hear the <call> macros and be able to come back in time. Not to mention how many times the controller vibration jarred me awake during all those long hours farming god pop items :P

If they use the same chime as FFXI it wouldnt be very annoying, I could have conversations for hours in tells, with multiple people and never get annoyed by it. Its more a helpful feature than annoyingthis is fine as long as i can turn the clime/ping sound off in config. I like both /tell sound & <call>

You can spam in XI but the chime doesn't go off if you receive a tell in quick succession.
