It tells you when the quest sends you to the NPC that you reserve your weddings with. You may not be able to reserve at that moment in time, but you can still read what the reservation NPC has to say before leaving and coming back to actually reserve. My partner and I both read it and knew we were suppose to be there.

That's another thing! Whatever happened to our venue options!? They once talked about how players would eventually be able to choose which venue they wanted!

I don't mind the reservation system, but the reset should be in the prime time of the server's location. I had to get up at 3 AM and my fiance had to take off work to book ours....

The reservation system is something I still find a tad ridiculous, but it works well enough at this point I suppose - except for the fact the only time to reserve early seems to be at the crack of dawn, when most normal people are either asleep or having to get ready for/are already at work.

Either they need to fix the "you both need to be on to reserve a slot" thing, or they need to make the reservation window not in the wee hours of the early morning. I'm already worrying constantly about how my boyfriend and I are going to be able to reserve a time.

its to make sure one person doesnt make all the choices without the other's knowledge/consent so you can avoid conflicts later, its to make sure it works for the both of you.

You can both make seperate preferences of the ceremony itself and synchronise them with your partner at a later time... but you can't grab 1 time then discuss it while you have that slot reserved, and if it can't be agreed on then it'll become vacant again, I don't see what the issue would be if this were the case.

Also I'm not sure how it's "catered for NA" when the reset time for the US is Friday at 1am for PST, 2am for CST and 3am for EST.

Eh, I just re-read the super long The Ties That Bind and saw that the couple must form a party of two and be both equipped with the bond items. So it is in the quest.

It's still obnoxious. Wedding settings can be done individually and then the couple will choose which one to use. And as pointed out, the wedding is instanced so it's weird that it has to be reserved.

And about this being a "Japanese game", they already made the decision to include NA and EU servers so those should be taken into account. Granted, my timezone isn't that far from Japan's but I reckon it's troublesome for those in EU and NA. If they really were adamant about keeping the reset times strictly JP, why is the weekly reset done on Tuesdays 5pm JST and not Mondays 12am JST? They can make adjustments if they really want to.

It took me and my partner a month in a half to get a decent time... I've attended weddings that had... not-so-decent times like the last one I attended was at 12pm Saturday (today) and only 3 people were there... yeah choosing the right time is kinda important unless you want the saddest most lonely wedding ever. Still 1 and a half months for me and my partner (also using platinum)I definitely agree with you that this reservation system is stupid.

It is a very lame system. What I noticed people doing is that they form a party, and whoever can't make it in reservation time AFKs by the NPC. Therefore they are both there when the hour ticks.

It kinda sucks you have to go through all this to reserve time but what to do.
