It tells you when the quest sends you to the NPC that you reserve your weddings with. You may not be able to reserve at that moment in time, but you can still read what the reservation NPC has to say before leaving and coming back to actually reserve. My partner and I both read it and knew we were suppose to be there.

Eh, I just re-read the super long The Ties That Bind and saw that the couple must form a party of two and be both equipped with the bond items. So it is in the quest.

It's still obnoxious. Wedding settings can be done individually and then the couple will choose which one to use. And as pointed out, the wedding is instanced so it's weird that it has to be reserved.

And about this being a "Japanese game", they already made the decision to include NA and EU servers so those should be taken into account. Granted, my timezone isn't that far from Japan's but I reckon it's troublesome for those in EU and NA. If they really were adamant about keeping the reset times strictly JP, why is the weekly reset done on Tuesdays 5pm JST and not Mondays 12am JST? They can make adjustments if they really want to.
