So you looking for a cookie or something? The average casual player doesn't have 10 mil to blow on housing.. lol doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out or understand the OP's post.Im a casual player and I split a mansion cost with 2 other casual players. How exactly are u defining casual? there is a medium between playing 24/7 and playing 5 mins a week xd
Anyways, are you complaining you don't get a free house with the event? Puzzling post indeed xd
The average casual player can get an apartment in their Free Company house for 300K, which I plan to get once I reach 50. I plan to use the events items I got for my future apartment.

Sure. I'm also part of an FC that has one. Consider that no new FCs and no new players can participate.
I just feel that event rewards should be something that we can all use. Old and new, rich and poor.
I saved majority of mu moneies from launch ready for the personal housing to be added, got to 100k gil, placed on retainer. Still do in fact XD. Got ahouse day one of personal housing all because I planned for it. Neither do I consider myself "Elite" as most Gil I've had is 10 million.
Somehow people forget about all the rewards that are like minions, outfits for glamours, foodstuff, etc. And only a few of the stuff is housing decorations that you can put in your FC's house too for everyone to share and enjoy. I got one of those star trees and put at our FC to help everyone get the yellow stars.
I think the starter of this thread was commenting that there's... no outfit for glamors this time.Somehow people forget about all the rewards that are like minions, outfits for glamours, foodstuff, etc. And only a few of the stuff is housing decorations that you can put in your FC's house too for everyone to share and enjoy. There's... chocobo barding, furniture, and a sparkly consumable.
Starlight did have some gear, at least.
I don't know about your server, but Adamantoise has plenty of small houses available for around a million Gil, plus the 450k building permit...not exactly chump change, but not difficult to make even without being a crafter.
I agree about the rewards being housing furnishings but not in the same respect as some. I was lucky enough to get a medium house in Mist (in a great location too) way after housing became available, but even then, all of these rewards eventually do me no good. My FC is active. I as a player am active. So is my husband and other FC officer. We get tons of things for the house that we craft or obtain through our Primal farming. We love any special events too, especially when they have furnishings...though...
We've noticed that the rooms aren't getting any bigger. That the item limit isn't getting any larger. If this game keeps giving out furnishings as rewards then they need to up the housing item limits. I'm personally glad that they stopped trying to add more houses and instead, are looking into expanding the current houses.
Last time I checked there were no small houses on Cactuar, other high pop servers have no houses at all or only large houses available at this point. If there was a unlimited number of small housing available I don't think people would have the grounds to complain, but unfortunately there is not.
Hmm I just bought a medium sized personal house a week ago on my server. I wouldn't consider myself hardcore or anything. I just had a good way of making gil for a while and was able to save up enough. Maybe it's my server too, there are plenty of plots available still, though most plots are occupied, there are still a good few that aren't. I bought my plot in the 7th ward in the subdivision. There's still an 8th ward with plots available too, not to mention some of the other wards do have land free.
I think a lot of players don't realize that each ward has a subdivision now. They just look at that main ward and think everything is full.
