No offense Ryelee but they should be rewarding everyone who is playing at all, new or old. Incentives go a long way and would actually help retain people which is what is important until PS3 release.

I think the OP is really just wanting the loyal to stand out. How about those that have maintained an active presence in game (has not been logged off for more then a month since release) receives the ability to upload a custom avatar on these forums =D
For what? Staying in a game no matter how crappy it is?just wanting the loyal to stand out
In my experience such unwavering brainless fanatism just
harms a game and deserves a whip more than a bonus...
But that's just me.

I somewhat agree. But I think they saw enough loss of players to crap themselves.
As someone who bought the CE at launch and then just this patch more or less had a recolor of said reward added as an obtainable item.
Yeah, it would help make that suck less if we got something to show we stuck with it.
I seriously doubt they will do a new zone or dungeon just for us. The common approach by MMOs to reward those who played in their beta is to award a title or cosmetic item (pets, mounts, tabards, hats, armor) that don't have any worth while stats (the Goggles and Onion Helm are a decent example of this. They become useless for anything but looks after level 10)
p.s. Stupid Peregrine Helmet
Have you done anything that warrants a reward?
Bring in a title like system and give people who have stuck around a free title called "Loyal" or something ;v
I would be a bit more specific but I don't remember how titles worked in 11. Not to mention what everyone else mentioned, the thing about how it would be almost impossible to tell who has actually been around for the whole time.
Have fun sitting at level caps with absolutely nothing to do for the next year or so. Also after grinding all your jobs to 50 via glitches and un-intended leveling methods with no doubt. Anyone who comes back from here on out will be more of a veteran than you ever were considering how much harder it is to level.
