Suggestion - Role swapping in instance

I would like this feature. But the problem is, you'd still be down one person, which might screw with people who are in queue. Say for instance.

Queue in as a DPS for Halatalii HM.

You're in the dungeon. Tank decides to dip. You then commence a role swap. The tank who was in queue for that spot might end up getting screwed due to the role swap happening. So you'd need to wait on a DPS to fill the slot in that you originally had when you first got into the instance.

While you make somewhat of a point, it's really at the discretion of the team leader if they want to replenish ranks. So as long as they add the feature to where the party can decide on who assumes which role after the tank/dps/healer leaves, and then the leader chooses to replenish ranks, that would be ok.

Seconded. It should be an option that pops up after someone leaves, maybe even the default option rather than "search for replacements," just to give players time to think about what to do with the rest of the instance. On a gamepad, the box usually pops up so fast that I don't even see it before it steals the X button input from whatever window I was in. That usually comes at the same time as "crap, I was trying to leave!" And then you end up suffering through the rest of the run anyway, even though it's usually not the problem player who quits halfway.

What's the worst that could happen? The tank doubles the amount of time he's in the queue? Zero times two is still zero.

If tank was queued he should be assigned to that spot but if there is no tank queued then why keep the party waiting?

Its also not even necessary or said that there WAS a tank in queue and someone whos actually in the dungeon has taken his slot - you still have to hit the button to search for a replacment. If you dont do that no one will come, no ones place will get "stolen". I'd really liked a feature like that though! Maybe even along with the "search for a replacment"-option - like the game is asking if someone wants to switch. Sometime I'll go into a duty as bard - to get light, because I'm tired of tanking or to tired to tank, whatever. But if we're halfway through the dungeon I totally wouldnt mind to safe the run by switching to my pally. Hell, sometime I LEFT a duty as dps to return as tank...

But your point is still valid and I too would love a feature like this.
