Just who is Odin?

It sounds like Zantetsuken is also one of the "keys" like Louisoix's staff and the horn from 1.0 that can draw aether from the environment, but comparatively weaker.

EDIT: Looks like the Odin trial can also randomly have him without his helmet. He's the Duskwight we saw before in those early 2.0 screenshots.

What's also interesting is that the 1st boss of Amdapor keep -- Anchag -- is not only a reskinned Odin, but it also has the Trial Odin attack "hall of sorrow" and one of its attack is named "valfodr" which is aperantly another name of Odin in mythology.

Odin is only found in Black Shroud + looks like a duskwight elezen. I wonder if Odin was somehow related to the Amdapor civilization? Maybe a king?

He's not an Amdapori primal, but he's likely from Ilsabard, the Garlean continent, but long before the Garleans conquered it. The minion does say he's from "Northern mythology," and he stole his sword from an Au Ra, whom as far as we know are isolated to Othard, which is bordered by Ilsabard.

Except, as far as we know, Odin was sealed away for the entire duration of the Amdapor civilization. He was sealed away during the time of the Allag.
