It's a rare minion so it isn't supposed to be easy to get it. If it would drop everytime, everyone would have it and it wouldn't be rare anymore. I think it's a good thing that we need to put some effort to get stuff in this game.
I farmed WoD for 6 days before I got my BRD chest, I did 30+ runs and when I finally got it, it felt so good and I was so happy about it. It wouldn't have felt the same if I had gotten it on my first run.

Ps. I have seen the minion drop more often than the BRD chest :3

Man, this just reminds me on how I rolled a 98 for puff of darkness, just to lose on someone's 99. It still hurts xx

Please never ask for content to get put in the cash shop. I'm still iffy on them releasing old event outfits on the cash shop, but that's bearable enough since it allows people who missed the event to get them if they wish to shell out extra for content that was only in the game for a limited time.

Rewards from dungeons should never be put in the cash shop. Period. Stop asking for it, you're part of the problem.

Ughh I feel your pain /confort

What suck the most is being second place in any competition or anything with prize. It make you feel that why get anything high and then see our hopes vanish and think again that would have been better getting your usual low number without expecting to go to you :x

Anyway, related to OP, I say no of course. Like others said, it wouldn't be rare anymore.

I am unlucky as well but nope, thanks.
And if it is a nope for the minions, it's an absolutely not for gear upgrades: it would be a pay to win.

I badly want the Puff of Darkness too, I'll just try till I have the will. Having it in the mogstation would just ruin the rarity, the beauty and the sense of it being a drop.

While for the carbontwine/coat. We don't "need" it but it feels wrong that doing the same progress we can't upgrade due to bad RNG so, instead of ruining the game forever with pay to win garbage, it would be way better a 100% token system like the Shiva's diamond dusts: everytime you clear T10-13 every member of the party get a 100% drop and after you have a certain number of those tokens you exchange them with your well deserved upgrade, it would just be fair. SE I'm looking forward to this!

    This would be nice.
At least for ST. WoD can probably continue to be a bit more rare for a while, that doesn't bother me.
It's nice that they put in a weekly quest to keep interest in old dungeons so I have a reason more than just a low minion chance to go there, but I may not ever actually see the minion chest ever again, with how my luck is!

Or change them to work like dungeon key items. Everyone have the same chance to get it the moment the players finished the fight and left the instance.
Also maybe with a Fanfare if it pop up into your inventory ^^

No, when you roll a 99 and someone rolls 100. That really hurts.

Would add a bit of veteran presence but I'm curious how adding a slight roll modifier on failure would affect the psyche of the roll itself. IE, every failure adds a bit of a modifier to your roll.

Either pure progressive (maybe exponential growth rate) or a second additive roll. First would add an amount that grows per failure, second would make a range grow per failure being less predictable. Resets upon success.

It would make each failure possible to be considered progress. Long run trends would probably show players fewer first time wins and more dedicated plays getting the items, which is good to say "I worked for this" and to reduce outliers. First time wins would not be impossible of course, just make those who've not been super lucky to become "super lucky".

Though I dislike the inventory space required I don't mind the token system, RNG is RNG it -IS- possible to go 1,000 runs of one primal and not get that item you wanted (just very unlikely). I find that unacceptable, it is not about skill or talent or work when one person can go one run and get an item and you can go 500. So I believe all serious contents there is a -need- for a safety net, and tokens are fairly straight forward system to do so. Another idea is that there is a place of fate, whether that is a menu location, or real like a wishing well, fountain, lake that allows you to view all drops of dungeons you've been to. The place, or menu, dedicated to all tokens. At the end of each dungeon you earn a point to that dungeon. Now you could vary it by making each point spent increase the fate of receiving it (mixing in the above increased roll chance systems) or just make it a true token system.

I think it would be cute once max fate (if incremental system used) or cute buyout system that the item comes to you uniquely like through a retainer venture bonus item, mysterious mail, "Hmm I feel sleepy" message and you go hecking (checking) your bed after a night sleep (add a "nap" feature at beds so you don't need to log out :P, logging out counts ofc), or any other number of fatefully suspicious means. Of course it could just be simple and you purchase or run the dungeon one more time and it and is yours lol.

The point of the token system not being a primary means, though you could add some special/secret items too like Mamoolja mount from WPHM that starts with 0% chance at the end of a dungeon and each point increases your chance to obtain the item at the end of the dungeon.
