It's a very enjoyable, well-written arc--and very closed. I think "continuing" it would be a mistake. I'd rather that energy be put into a brand new dungeon arc that's just as good.

I'd lol if Edda ends up becoming a void sent queen and that Diabolos and Feridad ends up being the minibosses to her dungeon

I hope they continue her story. I want nothing more then for her to have a happy ending. her story is so tragic =(
also I agree with the above post. it would of been amazing to see her as a hidden guest in the corner during eternal bond cutscenes lol

It is my hope and wish that YoshiP and the Dev Team add to this storyline. It is one that I was really interested in within the base storyline, and with the addition of Tam HM I am really wanting to see it move forward.
I would expect the following to playout:
Next Dungeon - 1, she isn't dead, 2, time for her family to pay the price to aid her in raising her lover. Since we don't know where she comes from, I would expect it to have a feel of HM, but based closer to her storyline, or since its her lover, she makes HIS family pay the price to raise him for her.....and in this one, the Lalafell also dies.
After this, I would expect a play more into into the Void, something along the lines of WoD as a 4 player mode dungeon. She is totally gone to the other side, however, it is her lover, and the other two who show up after her last glorious fight from beyond the grave to save her, and you get a cutscene of them finally married by Hydenlian.

Can we really kill the Voidsent ? Best example is Lady Amandine. You killed her in Haukke Manor, but in Haukke Manor HM Halicarnassus brings her back in a snap...
To me it seems we just send them back in their realm and they can't come to ours without help (be it a higher Voidsent, or Humans summoning them).
Edda might be in this case, now that she is "dead" she is trapped in the Void and looks for a way out... I don't think we will see her in 2.5X but I do hope she'll make a come back as a powerful ennemy in 3.X ^^
That could give some more lore on the Voidsent. Until recently with WoD we didn't have much about them.

Yeah, the party you see there for Hard Mode are not the same models as the party Edda belonged to back when you unlocked Sastasha normal. This party is meant to be a call-back to that one - except this time around, instead of an abusive tank and a meek, downtrodden healer, it's the healer who's a jerk and the tank who takes the abuse.

I don't think Nonoko is implying that the conjurer in that group was Edda. Look at what one of the adventurers said - the tank almost lost his head.
It'd be interesting if it was still Edda trying to get someone's head, but I think it's just a funny callback.

With the ominous end cutscene of AK HM, it seems like that may be the start of a new Voidsent storyline.
