New housing wards for populated servers?

Excalibur is quite populated, and as a result, there are a small handful of Large size houses left, and that is it. I understand other servers are in a similar boat, while other servers still have a lot of plots available.

Can we expect new wards at least for the populated servers any time soon? I understand the expansion isn't too far off, and the housing team is currently working on the coming Golden Saucer, due to land at the end of next month - however I truly hope new wards aren't far off.

It is a little frustrating to hear that the low populated servers have an equal number of wards to the populated ones - wouldn't it have been smarter to give those wards that aren't being used by a low pop server, to a high pop one?

And about Gold Saucer, I'd like to see the Ghost Hotel from FFVII Gold Saucer make a return, too!

Yeah no more small houses are available on Cactuar either. All that's left is overpriced large and medium houses.

Yoshi already addressed this by saying that the housing team was working on the gold saucer and when they go back to housing instead of just adding more wards their task is going to be increasing what you can actually do with housing. More wards will be upcoming but they want to expand the housing system itself first.

In the mean time if you're on Balmung your only option is to pay someone the price of the lot just for them to demolish it so that you can pay the game what the lot costs, meaning you have to buy your house twice (if you can even find a seller).

I am on Ragnarok. I am wishing for small house since day 1. I don't like the idea of having medium house as a single person (which are the only houses available here).

Yoshida has announced that they feel they have fulfilled demand for housing.

To be honest....I'm not sure what server they're looking at when they decided on this.
