What's awesome is, the giant node on the middle is the easiest way to rack up kills/total damage dealt. AoE rotation with the middle node as the focus will kill many if you triple flare.

Not true, we take a healer and a tank! Sometimes we even only use 3 mages and get 20+ kills per mage and 10+ for all other dps/tank. <__< that coordination too strong.
