Please make kicked people stay kicked

Anyone even read the original post in this thread? This seriously needs to be addressed. I've been plagued by this before, as well. If you voted to kick them out, they shouldn't have any method to rejoin the group. Otherwise, what's the point of the kick? If you're against this, you're against vote kicking as a whole, and since vote kicking isn't going to go away, I don't even.

Yes, and this is how I feel about it:

A temp solution is (who even the leader of the group is) don't start searching for a replacement the instant you kick someone (especially ones with instant que), this way it lowers the chance of getting the same person kicked as that person may end up in a different group. Doesn't stop it totally but does slow it down.

Why you may ask? Because of this:

I've been apart of the "buddies duties". And yes I would find it gratifying to keep joining their group because I'm spiritbonding in level appropriate DoW or DoM gear.

And the times where someone was unfairly kicked because someone and their buddy doesn't like their face?

Can be reported and investigated on a per instance basis. I believe the reference of this thread is those who are being abusive, not unfair dismissal.

I agree that this needs to be changed and as other people mentioned, for the time being until it is changed, waiting to search for members or vote abandon are your alternatives.

Yeah, I 5 min penalty for the person kicked should be mutually beneficial. That way itll lower the chance of a party seeing a kicked member and vice-versa

I disagree with the 5 minute penalty, people get kicked all the time by pre-made group for no reason, griefing, trying to steal gear, etc. and a penalty would hurt those people as well. Getting kicked and losing your progress in whatever you're doing is enough punishment in my opinion.

The group doesn't want you around. And sure YOU may be just fine and dandy but the majority of the instances where this behavior crops up the person being kicked NEEDS to stay gone for the good of the group.
I myself have had situations almost exactly as the OP describes (though we vote abandoned instead of having someone eat the penalty) so it IS a real issue.

That's a terrible idea due to only needing 2 people to complete a kick(meaning if a group of 2 people who join together would be able to troll way too easily). Simply disabling the ability to join the specific instance you were kicked out of would be enough.
