The magic number is a tower +2 stacks for rage in phase 2. If you can survive that without dipping below 200hp then you are set. Any lower and you're taking risks. If you can't survive tower+rage after eating 2 orbs then you are making things harder for your group than need be. I honestly found that being robust enough to reliably survive bad RNG was more important than minmaxing my healing throughput. How far through T13 are you guys? (Assuming you haven't got the clear yet that is).

when I first beat t13 it I was about i108? because of the i90 Accessories, for.... wait for it, More HP.
The HP was far more valuable than any healing stat could ever be.
Furthermore To do it as we now do, without dragon kick, pretty much requires a bit more HP to do so with near 100% reliability.
I still wear 1 accessory with near full i130 just to keep it at a 1 shot per week. (without dragon kick)
