tell me a story about Besaid~

Hello,
Im new to the game and I cant decide on a server! I know its hard to tell which server is best, however this is not the question Im asking. There are 4 servers I consider joining and one of them is Besaid. What Im asking in this thread is - what Besaid is like?

- whats the population in besaid? mostly US? EU? JP? Or a equal mix of all?
- are there any people in Gridania?
- could u get into a pick up group? or only statics?
- do people chat is 'shout' and 'say'?
- lastly how do u enjoy Besaid? are people fun and helpful? Or would u rather change server if u could?

and special question for Besaid:
Do you really RP?

I'd like to mention that I tried to check all servers I consider joining on my own, however I didnt see much diffrence in a first glimpse, so I'd be gratefull if those of u who have got experience with Besaid could answer above questions

Besaid is a pretty good server from what I have played on it.

1. It seems to be pretty mixed from what I have seen in it.

2. If you count me as people. (Haven't really explored it. Need to level my character that's there.)

3. I haven't tried that. I know the linkshell I'm in is sometimes running raids. Not sure if they accept people outside the linkshell.

4. Yes. They chat in both.

5. People are very fun and helpful.

- whats the population in besaid? mostly US? EU? JP? Or a equal mix of all? Decent mix. See JPs. Few EUs in my LS. Lots of NA's (US and Canada), used to have a guy from Brazil in the LS as well. Think there is someone from Africa too.
- are there any people in Gridania? Not really, but I'm sure that'll be changing once there's more content made to get people into Gridania. Guildmarks being city state specific has helped tremendously but it's still a ghost town.
- could u get into a pick up group? or only statics? Statics are still the most efficient means, but I do crab parties in La Noscea and I'll pick up people doing leves in the area. I do this with all of my grinding parties.

- lastly how do u enjoy Besaid? are people fun and helpful? Or would u rather change server if u could? The only reason I'd want to change servers would be a superficial one. FFX is not my favorite game, though it's still up there. That being said, I've never seen myself make such an irrational decision and I don't intend on doing so now. Have found some really good friends on this server. Inseparable now if you ask me. The friendships will probably last longer than the game will honestly.

and special question for Besaid:
Do you really RP? I don't, but a lot of people do. My casual shell is 80% RP. It's almost a detriment as RP spills too commonly into the casual LS chat despite there being two separate shells for it, but I don't really mind it so much.

Sidenote: www.dodostampede.tumblr.com and a there are some Gamerescape(eorzeapedia) staff on it as well.

EDIT: Leyza and Sky are in my LS. Actually surprised that the guy with the Besaid Ventrilo server would say the server's gone fishing. We do accept people outside the shell but we look for people within the shell first. Shell members take priority. That being said, Zenge has been having trouble getting people for Darkhold runs, still plenty of room for that.
