...But coming on the forums and posting a rant about it instead of talking to the person or people actually responsible will?
Then report them if it's actionable harassment, otherwise you're just venting about other people venting which is as useless as tits on a bull.

It's fine for people to do so. What's not fine is joining several LSes to get info but not waiting when you yourself find it. I do a lot of hunting, but I don't mind early pullers. So long as people are being reasonable, C'est la vie.It may be an unpopular opinion, but whenever I hear someone complain in shout about how somebody pulled an A rank "early" I can't help but think "So what?".
They're HUNTS. Why shouldn't the people who find them first, especially in the case of the less valuable ones, get to claim their prize and move on. They were the better hunter, they got the kill.
Imo the only real time u should consider about early pulling is if you are the first group to spot the hunt. But if you found out about the hunt by someone not in ur hunt group then you shouldn't be the ones to call the shots of pulling.
yaaa tell that to said person and have them reply with a stfu
its like they act tough because they are annon behind a monitor and keyboard
I think this is actually the heart of the issue.
Group #1 finds the target and begins reporting the location (Out of consideration or foolishness, whichever you interpret it as)
Group #'s 2 and 3 and 4 show up
The Bard in group #3 pulls the MOB (Troll)
Everyone jumps on it while people are still arriving.
The prerequisite wait period (However long that may be... 10 seconds, 5 hours, whatever. Doesn't matter, really) hasn't passed yet.
People start screaming about early pulling.
As you said, it's kind of up to the people who found the MOB, how they want to treat it. Do they want to pull it or let people filter in over the course of an hour so that everyone on the server can get Bronze? If the world were honor-bound and people actually gave a shit what others thought, this might work out. But it's not, they don't, and it doesn't.
I guess the take away from this is that if you see a Hunt mob, pull it if you have enough backup to beat it (I trio'd Melt once with a tank and a healer. Took forever. @_@) but at no time do you have any reason or grounds to complain if you get there first and then someone else pulls it, or even if it's dead before you get there.
I remember when people would go out of their way to make parties of just tanks and healers, and encourage other people to do the same so that everyone could ideally get full credit, since it's the enmity generated by the party that matters. Your party can do 8 damage and get gold.
Not saying everyone should roll tank or healer--I'm quite aware there are many who are DPS only. The point is the general sentiment.
I'm surprised the community has changed this much already.
