I definitely think that the i70 crafting gear, as it can be worn on all classes and is cheap to acquire, is far more lucrative than fully melding eight different sets of gear, even at the cost of 1 point in each stat per piece of gear. It's cheap and it works for all classes is definitely the appeal here.

Still, I think I'm gonna keep using the redeemed Artisan gear and gradually replace with crafted Artisan gear as I am able to get my hands on it. The only trouble being, of course, getting my Supra tools as Mastercraft Demimateria is a pain in the ass to get if you're not swimming in gil.
