A pet should never be on sic anyways, such a waste of their skills in that stance.

Honestly it doesn't make a huge difference at the lower levels, but once pets get that 4th ability, then you definitely want to start putting them on Obey. Particularly Garuda Egi.

Can't really speak for Sch though, I imagine they probably need their pets on Obey all the time. As an Acn or Smn though, not really needed until Garuda get's Contigen. (when solo)

Well I take that back, somewhat. While on Acn using Emerald Carby, you def want to prevent them from using their knockback abilities (while in a party). That said, Garuda doesn't use that ability unless mobs run up to her or are pulled close enough to her position for the skill to go off. (if I'm wrong about this then sorry. I know that if you click the knockback she will fly over to the target and do it with certainty. From what I can tell she doesn't move on her own when on Sic due to her stationary nature while she does her ranged attacks)

These days I pretty much always use Obey on my pets, depending on what I'm doing anyway. Sometimes I put Titan on Sic if I know he's going to be tanking a horde of mobs so that I don't have to micro manage putting up his shield ability.

But at the lower levels, specially when soloing in particular, using Sic is pretty effective.
