I guess you guys are lucky with your LSs.. Plenty of times, like often enough it's a very legitimate concern every single call, I will get the call, immediately head to the mark, and arrive to it dying or dead. This is not me being slow. I know how to navigate maps and usually good at locations if multiple aetherytes.

The only "fault" I'm at in these times is not being lucky enough to be in your LS. To claim I was being slow is ignorant.

How early is early?

A paladin pulled the S-rank in Mor Dhona when there was just one full party of us there.

We wiped. S-rank reset.

Edit: Paladin wasn't in our party. He was with just one healer. Yes, he did throw his shield at the boss and started his rotation on it, it wasn't an accidental pull.

Hunts are back. Huzzah! With them, all the super funsie fun time 'drama' over people pulling early. In the majority of cases though, little to no blame falls (or should fall) on the puller.

• The person might not be pulling early. The people not making it in time are simply late, and the fault lies with them for doing so.

• The person pulling didn't zerg it down in 10 seconds flat. That fault lies with everyone else, and if it was really such an early pull, there would not be enough manpower to do so.

Anyways, just a bit of food for thought. And remember: Whenever you point a finger at someone, you're pointing 3 more back at yourself.

As I said in another post, do not ask people to shout in towns if you are going to pull early, that's the kind of crap I hate.
I used to try and go to them and they would be dead and always heard it was a accident.

Why I stopped listening to shouts, it happened yesterday, I was doing the moogle mailman quest it so happened to be in same area someone shouted a hunt, I seen like 10 people teleport to same area asking for invites and they said dead even before the pop time.

I heard a lot of people cussing and pissed off and I said to myself damn lucky I gave up on town shouts almost seems like a troll move.

I honestly wonder if some of you folks even do hunts... People who (legitimately) complain about "early pulls", it's because the mark is pulled I kid you not within 60 seconds of being found (less than half the time, a generous 90 seconds elapses before pull from the first person who arrived). On my server, we rarely waited more than 4-5 minutes to pull pre-2.5 after the mark was found, because it just doesn't take that long to get there. But nowadays, PC player with SSD going directly to the mark right after it was found will over 70% of the time just not get there before it's dead if it's an A rank.

Obviously people doing something other than being in pre-formed PT looking for hunts shouldn't expect anyone to wait. But like, if hunts is all you're doing, it's pretty crazy to see stuff die in the distance while you're frantically running to it. I've missed stuff when I was literally in the same zone as the mark when it spawned, and was less than 30 seconds away from it.

I mean, I guess I don't really care, because I get a ludicrous amount of seals anyway due to having a lot of play time and patience, but uh, it still seems like bad design.

Not a problem for me. Completely done with hunts for the foreseeable future. Turned off shouts so I can't see the early pull rage. Completely ridiculous imbalance created by hunts.

I mean I HAVE to get there ya know, I can't just teleport to the NM!

• People don't body pull early, they willingly pull less than 30 sec being there, even when they are not the hunter who found the hunt, and even if they're not tanks, cause they know a hundred of zombies are coming
• Everyone is afraid of not getting full credit and thus zerg it mindlessly cause NOBODY is gonna let the early puller die. We used to on Odin back when we were 15 people hunting. Now you can't, when hundreds of people show up. The hunt will just die flatout faster than the offender.

People already barely waited 5 min for an A rank before, cause not many showed up, at most 30 people. Any A rank is killable by a light party, but it takes some time.

Now even if you're in the zone, even if you're the finder, the hunt is gonna die less than 60 sec after it get discovered. Hunts don't live more than 30 sec after they get pulled now.
