    Nvidia New Driver today, Support DX 11 SLI FFXIV

    So today Nividia released a new driver for their cards.
    In the description there is noted SLI support for DX 11 FFXIV.
    I'm guessing the Benchmark is coming out soon!!

    Please please please let the DX11 client have AMD Corssfire support that works too.

    Biggest mistake I ever made for an upgrade was picking Crossfired cards instead of a nice Nvidia.

    My main hope for the DX11 client is them fixing transparent lighting issues with Nvidia cards and CPU overhead.

    That is not related to what I'm worried about but I really appreciate that news, uncompressed texures is something I'm really interested in since I'm playing at 4k resolution on a 40" screen!

    Ok, I wasnt quite sure what you were asking in the quote I used. I read "Overheat" on second read it was "Overhead"

    Yeah :P

    Overhead meaning DX11 is more optmized that DX9 for CPU usage. you know how when you go to Mor Dohna at peak time and no matter what cpu you have even if it's an i7 5960x @ 5ghz you'll still be at 40ish fps instead of 60+
    In the DX11 client we shouldn't encounter that problem AT ALL anymore, if they did it correctly.

    even in ACU which is horriblly optimized I get 0 fps drop even what there are like 200npcs on the screen.

    That makes sense, and i agree. Still, what we got now is 1000X Better than the 1.0 client. Sure it was pretty but the client was shit...

    Yeah... Ughh don't remind me. Running even 7970 in Xfire back then wasn't enough
    and those shadows, looked more like mesh.
