You can safely remove the ones that are at least a day old (in this case the ones at the top of your list) since banned accounts don't actually have their character removed from the system which is why they are not displayed as '(Deleted)'.
Hi Adamfyi,
I archived images of my December blist. Converted all 200 spambot names to OCR.
Imported text into Filemaker Pro. Performed sort and Find duplicates.
Within the un-purged blacklist, there were 27 duplicate spambot names and 2 triplicate
spambot names.
RMT is exploiting a vulnerability in Lua that allows repeat spamming to
over-ride the client blacklist, and allow the spam to succeed, and the spambot
name to be written again to the same blacklist.
This is pure arrogance on the part of the criminal bot owner.
Do keep using the blacklist. It does mitigate the rapid-fire over and over
repeat spams, but in a day or two, spambot exploits the blacklist.
RMT uses nonsense names (that give you a headache to read em) for
a reason - so you won't detect the duplicates.
I sincerely and respectfully hope that a game-master is reading this.
Thank you.
