I don't think anyone said they are balanced. Melee is incredibly favored in PvP. Melee players are just now realizing the importance of positioning, focusing, etc... That should speak volumes.

I sincerely hope those single melee keep running full steam into groups of 24 people trying to kill them. It's good entertainment. It reminds me of this level 15 Dragoon I watched attack a S-rank the other day in front of 2 full raids.
