What time of day / timezone do you play? DPS classes do have a longer wait for getting into dungeons, but even so, I can't remember the last time I saw it take hours to get in. 20 - 30 minutes is more typical.

Did you spot the earlier "Sastasha main story quest" thread? It's from another new player with the same problem, and includes some suggestions people have offered, like finding a good FC to help you, taking up a healer or tank class yourself so you can get faster queue times, or various ways to more enjoyably fill the time spent waiting in DF queues, etc.

Sheesh, i guess the only way to proceed is to have a new job as a healer and grind it to level 15 to get through the dungeon quests. :/

One of the popular suggestions for speeding up wait times is checking multiple languages in the duty finder. For your time zone adding French and German would probably help a lot.

Also try shouting (/sh) in the zone. Western La Noscea is a popular area and there are usually people around fate grinding.

I have tried both things, but it wasnt much of an help. I now started as a Gladiator and will grind my way to level 15 a.s.a.p to progress with what i was doing. The reason i have to get through this slaughter is for the retainers so i can sell cool junk.
