I at one point tried 20 runs CT (back then when ppl were still "Full Darklight") for tankchest even did a last minute run.... missed my weekly loot just to see it drop in the first run after reset... >.<
Wouldnt do that ever again. Ill just do 3-4 runs "farming" and if no luck ill just hope my greedyness gives me a nice piece for offclasses

This is why I never farm these for 1 specific drop. Just asking for a nightmare.

All the tanks in my FC want the body, but when we went in for the first time, the tank rolled on the first tank gear that dropped, which happened to be gloves. The monk and I, who alt tank, both rolled on the tank body when it dropped and I rolled better. It's a nice upgrade for me since I was wearing 110 body still.

While I understand your frustration, is it fair to blame the "noob" ninja as it were for winning. Again I understand your 40 attempts, and no this is not a troll but the noob ninja thing was not needed. Frankly it was the first day of patch and everybody regardless of how many times they ran it has just as much right to the loot system. To the wipes and insults, shame on the people who were insulting you. My apologies if I seem short with this posting.

It's literally Day 2 of the patch. If you're trying to get the item as an upgrade for your gear, you'll find it much easier to use Poetics. There's very little difference stat wise between the two pieces. In terms of glamour though, you should know that in a few weeks, these pieces will be the type of gear that ends up being left behind since no one wants to roll on a piece of gear when the poetic version is the one you need in order to upgrade to item level 125.

You should know that your chances of getting a drop like this are exactly inversely proportionate to how bad you want it.

Anyway, I sorta know the feeling. I passed on good loot during my first two runs thinking "nah I can get something better" and now nothing's showing up at all that I would even use and I kind of want to be doing other things than World of Darkness @_@

According to what I've been able to find out, the WoD bard chest is second only to a hella-overmelded i110 HQ shirt, and even then only by a tiny, tiny bit.
