Why can't we track achievement progress?

It's such a basic thing that would be so helpful, especially after the addition of new achievements.

What progress? You can track the progress in achievements in game. Shows you how much you still need to do in a nice bar under the achievement - detailed view.

u can on achievements menu just click the 1 ur attempting to finish :3 and shows ur progress

Im not really sure, but on my first sight it looks like she means that you cant track the achievement progress like quests, which is a pretty common feature in most MMORPGs.
